APPLE COURSES FOR FAMILIES ON THE SCHOOL CAMPUS
SISTECH DIGITAL LEARNING LAB
Are you frustrated with your Mac? Do you want to learn how to use it better? Are your kids outsmarting you?
Not surprising! Since SIS students are privileged to be members of an IT learning environment that is an official Apple School. Our IT staff are not only trained by Apple but are themselves certified Apple Trainers. So uncertainties about using Apple’s vast suite of applications and devices are becoming second-nature to your children and the same level of expertise and teaching can be put at the disposal of parents too, and even other adults not yet members of the SIS family.
From mid September 2014, 90-minute courses will run weekly, at a level appropriate to the skills of the participants.
Beginners will learn how to edit photos, create a slideshow video, learn how to modify audio and other settings. The intermediate course will focus on video editing including importing footage from a camera, creating a movie trailer and more. There will also be the option to take one-to-one sessions to ask particular questions and train you on specific areas of difficulty.
There will also be two more detailed courses which will run during term time and will have six or eight sessions at two different levels. There will be a basic Introduction to Mac World and an intermediate level course teaching you how to use the iLife package.
We also respond to demands for specific issues with Apple products and software, so if you would like a course on a particular subject please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
